Once upon a time, a long long time ago we morphed into bipeds. The history told is, in my view, a shortcoming story. Perchance of my predilection of fantasy, drama and adventure or just because of history have always been told by an underpaid subject of a ruler so and so.
Anyhow, before I start rambling again, fins, scales or feathers swapped for legs, arms and other goodies were solely the inaugurations for our after party. Now this celebration has turned out to be a function in a Moebius form.
Our specie has always suffered walking a cattle track made by melomaniacs, think about religion or consumerism. At the same time, there have always been non-conformers among the herd, who first had the baleful stares of fellow citizen, then admiration followed up by adoration to end up being a next tyrant of so and so.
Now my curiosity lays in the mystery of the natural underdog. We all like to see a “good” underdog and hero, but where resides the root of the “erratic stray”?…Reckon most of us wear it in our genes to rebel, though few take the risk of being burned at the stake or being stoned to death or more in our modern days; ignored and thrown out of the established order.
The same accepted and members of the herd, do love their heroes from afar, into their mids not so much!… Could it be the discomfort having near what U don’t dare to be or is it the disruption threatening the law and order of survival? After all the more the merrier, or in this case, the stronger.
Stronger when marching in the same direction, playing the notes u are ought to, should achieve a harmonic ensemble. So why the disruption is a steady factor amongst our kin?…
Suppose mother nature is the ultimate example; hierarchy is a natural phenomenon, as is quantum mechanics. In order to structure and stabilise, we need a lower energy. The higher and therefore positive energy will provide the change.
Idiosyncrasy a beautiful word for our individuality, that drives some of us into “rebel mode”. Some with more charisma and courage than others, they are among scientists, farmers, physicists, writers, mothers. Each of them trying to make the world a better place for their beloved ones.
A better and more just…well is that a fantasy statement?! Although I am a fantasy lover and do believe we need good doses every day, I am sure that the key of our world lies in action/reaction!
Instead of having heroes to follow, we should be our own hero of own story with a big bulk of common sense and respect for life.
That recipe will avoid us to result extinguished as a Shastasaurus, a Megalodon or be a dwarf Lantern Shark or Pygmy Seahorse for that matter? Naaah entropy rules, so better be happy and merry for as long the bash lasts!!!
May U all find peace, courage and vision to be the hero of your story.
